RELIGION NEWS ASSOCIATION (RNA) is the premier journalism association for people who write about religion in the news media. We offer training and tools to help journalists cover religion with balance, accuracy and insight.

Mission: To equip journalists throughout the world with the tools and resources they need to cover religion with balance, accuracy and insight.

Vision: We envision a global community of journalists who elevate religious literacy in the news media.

RNA BOARD OF DIRECTORS & OFFICERS

Full members elect up to 60 percent of RNA board members from among RNA's voting members for three-year terms. Board members may serve up to three consecutive terms. Officers are elected for one-year terms. The board receives advice and support, when needed, from the President's Council. The council is composed of the living past RNA presidents and serves as RNA's institutional memory.

Mission: The Foundation’s mission is to strengthen and improve the understanding of religion, improve public discourse about religion, advance religious literacy, and support religion journalism. In this, the Foundation works to provide comprehensive coverage of religion, religious freedom, and religious persecution across the globe.

Vision: RNF seeks to achieve its religious literacy goals through storytelling, films, videos, podcasts, training workshops, student and cultural exchanges, events, programs and initiatives.
